EdgeRunner Robotics Vision Platform Designated “Awardable” by Department of War CDAO Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace
BELLEVUE, WA – July 22, 2026 – EdgeRunner AI, the leader in military-specific, on-device artificial intelligence, today announced that its EVELYN advanced vision data labeling solution has been designated “Awardable” by the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. EdgeRunner AI’s EVELYN platform has been added to the Marketplace and is available to support critical missions across the Department of War (DoW).

EdgeRunner AI’s EVELYN platform is a TRL-7 edge-deployable vision dataset builder for autonomous labeling of image and video data, including EO/IR and full-motion video. EVELYN addresses the bottleneck of labels and training data in fielding autonomous systems. With only a few seed images or text descriptions of objects of interest, the platform can be pointed toward raw image or video data streams and it will segment and annotate the data automatically with uncertain cases routed to a human for review. EVELYN will then export this data into standard training formats. It can be run locally on-device, on-prem, or in the cloud. Additionally, the platform can be connected directly to live sensor feeds, serving as an edge-native real-time self learning object detection system for novel objects of interest.
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, readily awardable pitch videos that address the DoW’s most significant challenges in AI/ML, data, and analytics.
The Solutions Marketplace Model is fully compliant with the SECWAR Memo entitled "Directing Software Acquisition to Maximize Lethality” (March 6, 2025) and the Executive Order entitled, "Modernizing Defense Acquisitions and Spurring Innovation in the Defense Industrial Base” (April 9, 2025).
All awardable solutions have been assessed through complex scoring rubrics and competitive procedures and are available to Government customers with a Marketplace account.
